Alfred Russel Wallace

Alfred Russel Wallace (08/01/1823-07/11/1913) was Darwin's contemporary who independently proposed the theory of evolution by natural selection.

Most of his work is downloadable from Gutenberg Project. Also the Wallace Fund provides a lot of insight. Wallace' contribution to the evolutionary theory is critically review in The Darwin Conspiracy - Origins of a Scientific Crime.
